Delete your account

Applies to WiEnergi (app) and WiMentors (website) accounts

You can delete your WiEnergi account and its data at any time. Deletion is permanent — your profile, documents, mentorship requests, chats, session RSVPs, saved jobs, discussion posts and (for mentors) your public directory entry are all removed.

Option 1 — In the app (fastest)

Open WiEnergi and go to the Profile tab.
Tap Privacy & security.
Tap Delete account, read the notice, and confirm.
You'll be signed out immediately. Your data is deleted within 30 days.

Option 2 — Email us

If you can't access the app, email privacy@wienergi.com from the email address on your account with the subject line "Delete my WiEnergi account". We'll confirm your identity and complete the deletion within 30 days.

What is kept. Applications you already submitted to employers or programme providers were shared with them at the time and are subject to their policies. We may keep minimal records where the law requires it (for example, evidence that you consented to the privacy policy) and anonymised analytics that cannot identify you.

Just want to unpublish your mentor profile?

You don't need to delete your account. In the app, go to Profile → Edit profile and change your role from Mentor to Job Seeker or Worker. Your directory entry is removed straight away and your chats with existing mentees are kept.
